When you write you have to think like a reader.
This means that
You MUST be logical in your progression of ideas,
You MUST be organized,
You Must provide a thesis statement
You MUST provide a conclusion that brings together the overall purpose of your essay

Why? Because YOU expect these things from an author, so YOU need to provide these as well.
