Construction (IFC) set
including specifications
(CSI Divisions 1-16) by
JE
Changes to IFC
drawings are managed
thru JE revision control
process and provided
to LCLS for approval
After obtaining LCLS
approval, drawings are
issued to TCCo with field
bulletins and placed into
SharePoint

Schedule
Original WBS schedule indicated 28 months for the
entire scope (including the CLOC)
Revised schedule for Beam-Path construction
presented by TCCo and approved by LCLS (Aug
06 – Feb 08) indicates 18 months plus 2-3 months
for close-out (as-builts, O&M manuals, etc)
Recent developments to scope/schedule have
resulted in re-planning of the CF staff to support
the schedule
Initial changes have been made but will require
additional review

Summary
Scope and schedule for CF WBS is well
understood
Budget is closer in being fully defined
Roles and responsibilities are adequately defined
CF is adequately staffed in support of the
upcoming construction activities
Staffing adjustments will be necessary to accommodate
two shifts (tunneling operation)
SLAC is prepared and has made provisions for
receipt of construction activities
