Conclusion
• Preliminary results shows TKR works much better than
last time
• Infrastructure required for data taking: (In progress by
the online group)
– Where the ebf files are stored?
– How to get info about each run?
– Can we automate file transfer?
• Objectives for data taking:
– Perform CAL only calibration using NRL offline scripts (Sasha &
Xin)
– Perform CAL calibration using TKR with NRL offline scripts
(Sasha & Xin)
– Study charge sharing in TKR (Jason, see his talk tomorrow 4:15)
FEC occupancy
1. Use Gleam to convert ebf file to digi root file
2. For the tracker, no calibrations are done offline
For the calorimeter, run muon calibration scripts
to produce calibration constants xml files.
3. Gleam reads in the digi root file and calibration
constants, performs reconstruction, produces
several root files.
