Workshop based technology foresight process
Methodology:
First workshop: moderated session with key actors, in order
to work out the most important (technological) trends
Second workshop: moderated session with key actors, in
order to work out existing strength and weaknesses of the
location in relation to relevant future technological trends in
the competence field
Participants:
local representatives, two or three SMEs, one representative
of a multinational company and one representative of the
science sector
Duty of working groups: work out practical and concrete
measures, to prepare the region on the identified future
trends

Identification and description of key competencies
and deficits
