Workshop based technology foresight process
 Methodology:
 First workshop: moderated session with key actors, in order
to work out the most important (technological) trends
 Second workshop: moderated session with key actors, in
order to work out existing strength and weaknesses of the
location in relation to relevant future technological trends in
the competence field
 Participants:
 local representatives, two or three SMEs, one representative
of a multinational company and one representative of the
science sector
 Duty of working groups: work out practical and concrete
measures, to prepare the region on the identified future
trends

 Identification and description of key competencies
and deficits
