The major challenge of the use of the
new curricula is the availability of
teaching/instructional materials
 Under the UNESCO-Nigeria TVE
revitalization project, NBTE-UNESCO
organised two workshops for the
development of teaching/instructional
materials for use with the curricula

First workshop was, December 2008, for 7
disciplines which produce over 240 ebooks for 147 subjects.
 The Second was held in June 2009, for 6
disciplines. About 110 e-books are
currently being developed for about 101
subjects.

 Identification
experts, those involved
in delivering the new curricula
 Special meeting to instruct and
evaluate progress
 Production of Draft Materials
 Workshop with international
consultants
 Follow-up to finalise documents
 Production of produced materials
83 TVE Curricula Developed/Reviewed
 246 e-books produced, 110 under
development
 Focus: All TVE to be Reviewed
 Develop Instructional Materials for all
