• Work in the Province can be challenging from a political point of
view where results have implications for the specific groups
• Chris and Alan shared a love of wine, cricket and food. Alan was
keen to see Derry and the border country
• Chris used net stock model, Alan his trusted demographic
approach – coming up with similar results
• This report was the basis for action until the more recent study
published in 2014
