• 1. One of the language difficulties is contextual
reference. Students have to find the meaning
and function of transitional markers used to link
ideas.
2. All students have to read again “Personal
Computing”, analyze it to find the transitional
markers (pronouns: such as it,they, he,she,
which, who, whose, that, such, one, etc. and
demonstrative adjectives such as this, that,
these, those,and other words such as the
former, the latter, the first, second, etc., the last)
3. The lecturer discuss the complex and
compound sentences.
