根据主语而定：
当主语为I 时，用am
例如：I am a policeman.
当主语为you 时，用are
例如： Are you listening to music?
当主语为he,she,it时，用is
例如：He is doing the dishes.
当主语为单数时，用is
例如：My father is watching TV.
当主语为复数时，用are
例如： They are from China.
