状语从句

知识清单
状语从句在整个复合句中起状语作用，用来修饰主句中的谓
语动词、形容词或副词，有时用来修饰整个句子。状语从
句通常由从属连词引导。根据其含义，状语从句可分为时
间、地点、条件、原因、结果、比较、目的、方式和让步
状语从句。
命题者往往从主句与状语从句意义上的联系入手，或让考
生确定主句与从句的关系，或让考生选择结构与意义都正
确的状语从句，其中自然涉及主句与状语从句在时态上的
一致性，具体体现在考查引导状语从句的连词的选择，状
语从句的时态的确定。从近几年的中考题来看，应将复习
重点放在时间状语从句、条件状语从句、结果状语从句和
比较状语从句这几种上面。
考点一◎状语从句引导词的选择
各种状语从句都由一定的引导词来引导，有时引导 词不同，所表达的意义和效
果也有所不同，这要求我们必须结合具体的语境透彻理解主句与从句在意义
上的联系。

考点二◎时间状语从句及条件状语
从句子中的时态问题
在时间状语从句和if, unless引导的条件状语从句中，
当主句谓语动词是一般将来时，从句虽然有将来
的意思，但不能用将来时，而应用一般现在时。

考点四◎对几组易混连接词的考查
1. so…that 和such…that 的区别
（1）so修饰形容词和副词，such修饰名词，但当名词前有many, much, few, little等词修饰时，只能用
so，不能用such。如：There are so many people in the store that we can’t walk into it.
2.区分目的状语从句和结果状语从句
so…that 引导结果状语从句，so用来修饰形容词或副词；如：It’s so hot that we all want to go
swimming.
so that 引导目的状语从句，意为“为的是；以便于”。从句中多含有can, will, may, could,might等情态
动词。如：Please say it in a loud voice so that everyone can hear it.
3. 注意：(1) because和so不能同时出现在一个句子中（so是并列连词）；如：I can’t help you
because I am very busy now.
(2)although, even though, though 不能和but同时出现在一个句子中（but是并列连词）；如：Most
children like to eat junk food though they know it’s not good for their health.

考点五◎两个when和两个if的区别
When引导的时间状语从句和 if 引导的条件状语从句常用一般时（一般现
在时或一般过去时）来分别代替将来时（一般将来时或过去将来时）；
而when和 if 引导的宾语从句根据句意需要可以用将来时（一般将来
时或过去将来时）。
