In order for children to gain competencies,
a fundamental change in the content and concept of
education, its methods and educational strategies is
needed in order to proceed in the direction toward
a participative, interactive and experiential learning.

The teacher provides a learning environment that
promotes each child’s well being.

All forms of behavior must be mastered in order for
an individual to participate actively and effectively
in learning, problem-solving, interacting with other
individuals and groups.
Teachers should be able to support learners in the

Teachers assist young people in taking the responsibility for
their own learning.
Teachers should also take the responsibility for their educational
path and they are responsible for gaining new knowledge about
education.
Integral components of life-long learning are: continuous
reflection about own activity, paying attention to researching
the classroom, results of research and science, and integrate
them into own work, consider and evaluate the effectiveness of
educational strategies.
