What is the CIO ENT Seminar?
An opportunity for regional CIOs to come together to network and
share best practices and strategic thinking on issues of the day.
The format for the morning session is more of a seminar format
than a series of formal presentations.
A panel of CIOs from the region will lead the discussion and
attendees to the seminar can join in as well.
Break out sessions are also planned to dive deeper into issues of
concern to attendees.
What is the planned agenda?
Three main parts of the seminar include:
1. A look at the trends facing Higher Education
2. A review of the challenges facing CIOs today
3. Identifying solutions to challenges facing CIOs

8:15 – 9:30 Overall Trends Facing Higher Education
A session scheduled to capture the important trends that will likely affect
higher education in the years to come, which are reviewed as a backdrop for
more IT focused discussions.

10:45 – 12:00 Identifying Solutions to IT Challenges
The final session for the day will identify and discuss possible solutions to the
challenges facing CIOs and IT organizations. The group will choose 6 top
issues for breakout discussions. The group will come together to review the
recommendations and findings of the breakout groups.
