4:19. Net=pure gospel (not false
gospels, Gal. 1:8,9); not social
activities, instrumental music,
clinics, schools, etc.
• Luc. 5:5, “toda la noche hemos
estado trabajando, y nada hemos
pescado”. Por eso, ¿dejaron de
pescar? Requiere “paciencia”.
• Lk. 5:5, “we've worked hard all
night and haven't caught
anything.” So they quit fishing?
Requires “patience.”
• Hay que estudiar los “peces” y

• We must study the “fish,” and how
to “catch” them with the gospel.

• “No one is interested, won’t
accept.” We must not decide this
for them. It’s our job to inspire

personal work are not two different
things. It’s like attending, praying,
partaking of Lord’s Supper, giving.

potential for evangelizing, but it is
mainly for purpose of worshipping
God and edifying itself.
• Iglesia local, no es sólo “tanque”
donde vienen a beber, sino una
“fuente” (noria) de la cual fluye el
agua de la vida a la comunidad.
• Local church, not only a “tank”
where people come to drink, but a
a “fountain” (well) from which
flows the water of life to
community.
• Iglesia local no es como “fuerte” a
prueba de bomba para defenderse,
sino como “cabeza de playa” para
atacar las fuerzas de Satanás.
• Local church is not like a bombproof “fort” to defend itself, but
like a “beachhead” to attack the
forces of Satan.
• ¿Cómo obra Cristo? Iglesia es el
cuerpo de Cristo. Miembros = sus
ojos para ver, sus pies para ir, su
boca para hablar. 1 Cor. 12:14-22.
• How does Christ work? Church is
the body of Christ. Members = his
eyes to see, His feet to go preach,
His mouth to speak. 1 Cor. 12:1422.

• Everyone has at least one talent,

talent do better work than those of

but they were the ambassadors of

education, but serve. (If one does
not attend faithful, does he serve?)
• ¿Cómo hacerlo? Método más
efectivo = estudios en el hogar.
Todos los miembros (aun jóvenes)
pueden arreglar tales estudios.
• How to do it? The most effective
method = studies in the home. All
the members (even young people)
can arrange such studies.
• ¿Qué enseñar? Repaso de la Biblia
vida de Cristo, plan de salvación,
ejemplos de conversión (Hechos),
identidad de la iglesia, eventos
finales .. errores doctrinales.
• What to teach? Review of Bible,
life of Christ, plan of salvation,
examples of conversion (Acts),
identity of church, final events …
denominational errors.
• Comenzar a enseñar a la gente
donde les encontremos: judíos,
samaritanos, gentiles, mujer samaritana, Atenas, 1 Cor. 9:22, 23.
• Start to teach people where we find
them: Jews, Samaritans, gentiles,
Samaritan woman, Athens, 1 Cor.
9:22, 23.
• Así también debemos prepararnos
para enseñar a los de cualquier
religión, como también a los que
no asisten a ninguna iglesia.
• So also we must prepare
ourselves to teach those of every
religion, as also those who do not
attend any church.
• ¿Cuándo? Heb. 5:12, “Porque
debiendo ser ya maestros,
después de tanto tiempo”. Hech.
14:23, como en un año, escogieron
ancianos (“aptos para enseñar”)
• When? Heb. 5:12, “By this time
you ought to be teachers.” Acts
14:23, in about a year, they
appointed elders (“apt to teach”).

• Visitantes: Saludar, apuntar nombre, dirección, teléfono. Llamar,
visitar para arreglar estudio
bíblico. No perder la oportunidad.
• Visitors: Greet, get name, address,
phone. Call, visit to arrange Bible
study. Don’t miss the opportunity.
• YO SOY VISITANTE. Nunca me
quejo. Nunca critico. Si tengo que
ocupar los asientos de enfrente
porque los miembros ocupan los
de atrás me siento quietamente sin
• I AM A VISITOR. I never complain. I
never criticize. If I have to sit at the
front because the members sit in
the back seats I sit quietly without
murmurar. Si los bebés lloran tanto
que no oigo ni la mitad del sermón,
de todas maneras no quito mis
ojos del predicador. Después del
servicio si los miembros se juntan
murmuring. If the babies cry so
much I can’t hear half the sermon,
anyway I don’t take my eyes off the
preacher. After the service, if the
members get together
en grupitos y no me hacen caso, no
me quejo. Yo soy visitante muy
agradable. Pero hay un detalle: ¡NO
VUELVO!
In small groups and pay me no
attention, I don’t complain. I am a
very agreeable visitor. But there is
one detail: I DO NOT RETURN!
• Hermanos. Gén. 4:9, “¿Soy yo

• Brethren. Gen. 4:9 “Am I my

exhort, encourage.
• ¿Cómo hacer “contactos”? Al
trabajar con hermanos habrá
contacto con familiares y otros
que no son cristianos. Se ayudan.
• How to make “contacts”? When we
work with brethren, there will be
contact with relatives and others
who are not Christians. Help each
other.
• Vecinos: mostrar interés en ellos;
visitarles en el hospital; su hijo en
servicio militar; fotos de nietos, o
cuando estaban de vacaciones.
• Neighbors: show interest in them;
visit in hospital; son in militar
service; photos of grandchildren;
or when they were on vacation.
• Escucharles. Entenderles. No estar
simplemente cumpliendo con su
deber. Interés = amor. Mat. 22:39.
• Listen to them. Understand them.
Not simply be doing your duty.
Interest = love. Matt. 22:39
• Invitar, traer niños, jóvenes a los
servicios (clases bíblicas). Un solo
niño puede traer a muchos. (Nada
de “bus ministry”, dulces, juegos)
• Invite, bring children, young people
to the services (Bible classes). One
child can bring many. (No “bus
ministry”, candy, games).
• Mat. 5:16, buenas obras abren
puertas. Ayuda cuando enfermos.
Prestar oído cuando afligidos. No
son tácticas, sino genuino amor.
• Matt. 5:16, good works open doors.
Help when they’re sick. Listen
when they are troubled. These are
not tactics, but genuine love.
• Dios abre puertas, 1 Cor. 16:19; 2
Cor. 2:12; Col. 4:3; Apoc. 3:8. Hay
que buscar y aprovecharlas.
• God opens doors, 1 Cor. 16:19; 2
Cor. 2:12; Col. 4:3; Rev. 3:8. We
must look for and make the most of
them.
• Dios nos da gracia con la gente.

Influencia = fruto de fidelidad.
• God gives us favor with people.

Influence = fruit of fidelity.
• Habilidad + oportunidad = responsabilidad. Todos con un talento.
Todos pueden llevar fruto, Jn 15:8
Mat. 21:19, la higuera sin fruto.
• Ability + opportunity = responsibility. All have one talent. All can
bear fruit, Jn. 15:8; Matt. 21:19, the
barren fig tree.
• El tiempo es ahora, no posponer.

• The time is now, don’t postpone.

• Concentrarse en una persona, Jn.

• Concentrate on one person. Jn.

• Beneficios: Más estudio, oración,
crecimiento, interés en la iglesia,
calificados para otro servicio.
Menos tentación, tropiezo, trabas.
• Benefits: More study, prayer,
growth, interest in the church,
qualified for other service. Less
temptation, stumbling, obstacles.
• Causa gran gozo. Luc. 15:7; Hech.
8:39; 16:34; 3 Jn. 3, 4; Fil. 4:3, 4. El
gozo de “cosas” no se puede
comparar con este gozo duradero.
• Causes great joy. Lk. 15:7; Acts
8:39; 16:34; 3 Jn. 3, 4; Phil. 4:3, 4.
The joy of “things” cannot compare with this lasting joy.
