I was born in New York and grew
up on the east coast
I have traveled the world
extensively and alone most of the
time
I enjoy the outdoors, friends,
sailing, art, music, laughter,
teaching, learning, and my family

manager, a sailing instructor, a self
employed boat letterer, musician, and
band agent
I have my Masters of Science degree in
Education and an Elementary Credential
I worked with the Torrance Unified
School District for 14 years
I’ve taught at ECC since 2004. I have
taught both on campus and at the men’s
federal prison on Terminal Island

Create a life outside of school that will allow

Incorporate back ups for work and home
Trade babysitting

Stick to it
Overcome it
Just do it and do it NOW! Don’t
procrastinate!
Keep in mind that school is harder with
work and a family, but you can do it with
time management and organization!
