Main events:
-- Arrival and commissioning of TOF1 -- success! (see later talks)
-- target is still alive and well. Target DAQ works well-still to be integrated in MICE DAQ. *-->
-- safety issues
1. When in the hall wear safety shoes, high-vis vest and helmet!
2. Sign-in and sign-out!
3. Second sign-in/out sheet will be posted at yellow doors
between MICE-CR and the hall.
4. We need to organize better the shifters check list!!!!
5. Radiation was tested in hall withDSA beam stop and 200mV
with 460 MeV/c proton beam. Nothing.
==> Should be able to work in hall with beam in DSA and beam stop in.

Other issues:
-- control room discipline will need to be reflected on:
Tools, cables and settings had been found either moved, changed ….
…. or disappeared while away
We lost precious data taking time because of this.
Please leave things/connections etc… exactly as you found them!
+ MOM had to clean up after the shifts….:-(
-- please use logbook!
Especially for Hall and Installation issues, work on Decay Solenoid,
work on trigger, detectors etc…
ex: I caused Alan Bross a near heart attack by telling the news that
BLM2 had been taken out of beam. A note in Logbook would have explained
that this was a temporary step to put it in the right orientation.

Coming up:
Run on Friday 19 dec. 17:00
High intensity tries of MICE target
Need GVA1, GVA2, TOF0 at 300 MeV/c standard candle.
+Target/BLM DAQ
Saturday night no beam (Machine cool down) ==> access to DSA
Radiation survey in ISIS Sunday 8:00 am
MICE run at 2V BLM Sunday (8:30--> 24:00 (16 hrs) *)
Radiation survey in the hall during that time
Followed by cool down, ISIS radiation survey, shut down Monday morning.
That will be it until May09, so express your data taking wishes.
*)To be discussed in beamline group: optics configurations!
MICE will set up on standard candle pion beam 300 MeV/c trigger TOF0
