AFGS, based out of Kabul, Afghanistan, offers a wide variety of services under one umbrella, including operations and maintenance, procurement, transportation, logistics, ICT and life support services AFGS used to manage data in excel sheets with Quick Books as their accounting software. There was no central repository of all data for the various services provided by the company. Pettools (P) Ltd.

Pettools is one of the most reputed commercial tool room in India. They develop proto type, batch or mass production basis component and manufacture subassemblies as per the customer requirements.

Prior to openerp implementation, Pettools were using excel sheets to store / calculate details specific for their manufacturing process. Tally was being used as the accounting software. Their HR process was not streamlined.

OpenERP proved effective for the processes taking place in Pettools. All company operations were centralized at a single location. The introduction of CAPA (Corrective Measures, Preventive Measures) improved the manufacturing process by reducing operational costs and commonly made mistakes during production.
