Creating Global Citizens
What do we mean by
International and Global?
International defines all of the Scout relationships,
management and support in other countries. This includes
our Branches, British Scouts Overseas (BSO) and relations
with other National Scout Organization (NSO) colleagues,
as well as liaison with the European and World Offices.
Global refers to the outlook that it is aimed young people
will develop as they navigate through the ‘global
programme’, both education resources, such as the
International and Global badges and through practical
experience such as Jamborees or an International Camp.
