Le présent Contrat consiste, d'une façon générale, à installer des feux de voies pour les véhicules lourds et les cabinets de contrôle fournis par le Propriétaire et un tiers et à fournir et installer tous les accessoires nécessaires au raccordement et au fonctionnement du système de feux de voies pour les véhicules lourds. Le présent Contrat consiste également à installer de nouvelles structures de feux de voies, une signalisation statique aux approches, de même qu’une nouvelle caméra de télésurveillance. Les sites visés par le présent Contrat se situent sur   le pont Champlain et ses approches, situés dans la région de Montréal. Les soumissionnaires doivent visiter les lieux des travaux. Les soumissionnaires peuvent visiter les lieux par eux-mêmes. Toutefois, les soumissionnaires visitant les lieux par eux-mêmes ne sont autorisés qu’à visiter les endroits normalement accessibles au public. Sur demande, le soumissionnaire peut également visiter les lieux des travaux en compagnie d’un représentant du

, en prenant rendez-vous avec l’Agent d’approvisionnement du

). Les soumissions doivent obligatoirement être rédigées sur le Cahier de soumission fourni et doivent être signées. De plus, les soumissions doivent être retournées dans une enveloppe sur laquelle sera apposée l’étiquette fournie avec le Cahier de soumission. Pour être admissible, la soumission doit être conforme aux documents d’appel d’offres et être accompagnée de la garantie prescrite. Le prix unitaire soumis à chaque désignation de travaux ou de matériaux doit correspondre au coût réel de ces dits travaux ou matériaux. Si, selon l'opinion de l'Ingénieur, ces prix ne représentent pas les coûts réels, le

pourra rejeter la soumission. Vous êtes tenus de souscrire uniquement le Cahier de soumission; les autres documents sont fournis seulement à titre documentaire et afin d'indiquer les conditions contractuelles à l'adjudicataire. La valeur du cautionnement d'exécution et du cautionnement pour le paiement de la main d’œuvre et des matériaux sera d'un montant représentant chacun au moins 50% du montant total de la soumission.

Le Propriétaire exige des formules de cautionnements fédérales; les formules courantes ne seront pas acceptées.

This Contract consists, in general terms, in the installation of lane signals for heavy vehicles including controls cabinets provided by the Owner and a third party. The Contract also includes the supply and installation of the accessories required to connect and operate the lane signals system for heavy vehicles. Additionally, the Contract includes the supply and installation of new structures for lane signals, static signaling for approaches and a new surveillance camera. Sites covered by this Contract are located on the Champlain Bridge and its approaches, in the Montreal area. Tenderers must visit the work site. Tenderers can visit the site by themselves. However, tenderers visiting the site by themselves are only permitted to visit sites normally accessible to the general public. Upon request, the Tenderer may also visit the site accompanied by a representative of the

Owner

, by appointment with the Procurement Agent of the

Owner

(

Type C). In order to receive an English version of the tender documents, bidders must first order the French version of the tender documents and then contact the Procurement Agent of the Owner at 450-651-8771, extension 230. The English version of the tender documents will thereafter be forwarded to you at no extra costs.

Bids must

be completed and must be signed

on the Tender Form provided and submitted in in an envelope on which the return label will be affixed. To be considered, the tender must be in accordance with the specifications and must be accompanied by the security specified therein. The unit price bid on each item of work or materials shall represent the actual cost of said work or materials. If, in the opinion of the Engineer, the prices do not represent the actual costs, the

may reject the bid. Only the Tender Form is to be signed by you; the other documents are enclosed for information only as to the terms of the Contract to be awarded. The Performance Bond and the Labour and Material Bond shall each be for an amount not less than 50% of the total tender price.

The Owner requires Federal Bonds; Standard Bonds will not be accepted.
