The Vice-Chancellor Nnamdi Azikiwe University
Prof. Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS has expressed
condolence to the family of Senator Fidelis Okoro,
a member of the University Governing Council
over the death of his son.
Prof Ahaneku in his words of condolence prayed
God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the
loss.
The Vice-chancellor was accompanied by his wife

The Vice-Chancellor gave this condolence at the members of the University Management,
burial ceremony of the deceased held on Saturday members of the council, some Union leaders
13th OF September 2014 at Nsukka, Enugu state. amongst others.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University is set to hold a Sensitization Seminar on the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease.
In a letter signed by the Chairman of UNIZIK Committee on Ebola Epidemic, Awareness and Alert,
Prof. Christian Ibeh, the Seminar is geared towards sensitizing the University Community and
surrounding Communities on the reality of the EVD.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has lost one of its staff, Engr. Gracefield Okwudili Reuben
Ikwu who died on Wednesday 13th of August, 2014 at his hometown, Umuawulu, Awka South Local
Government Area. He will be buried on 18th of September, 2014 at his home town.

the demise of:
 Mrs. Ngozi Mercy Nnatu (Arudiya Mama
Echee). Whose sad event occurred after a brief
illness. Aged 63 years. Until her death, she
was the mother of Echezona Nnatu of
International Cooperation and linkages. Burial
Arrangement: Thursday 25th of September
2014: she will be buried at her hometown in
Umuoji village in Enugu-Ukwu, Njikoka L.G.A.
Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of September
