Year 6 Transition to Secondary School “How
to manage the process.” With Mr Flaherty &
Mr Ryan (Head at Chiswick School). Monday
15th at 5.30.

answered! Tues 16th at 3.30 and 4.00.
New - Drumming Club Yr4-Yr6
This new club will start next Friday.
Over the course of 8 weeks the
children will make and play their own
drums. They will then practise a range
of performance pieces which will be
performed at the DMT Bonfire Night
Party. The club will run from 3.20 to
4.30 and is completely free thanks to
the generosity of DMT. Priority will be
given to those children who didn’t
manage to get into our other school
clubs. Return letters asap please.
CYCLING - SAFETY NOTICE
Reminder
Cycling to school is encouraged but
there must be no cycling anywhere
in the school grounds – please
dismount at the school gates. This
applies to adults as well as
children.

Mufti days for these two event will be
two weeks beforehand.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE
Even if your children are now
entitled to a free school dinner in
KS1 it is very important to us, if
you would be entitled to free
school meals on income grounds,
that you complete the claim letter
sent to you. Please see Mrs Bullen
if you need help completing the
claim letter, or for any other query
regarding school meals.
SCHOOL MEALS 2.
Our halal meat dish has proved
popular. So popular in fact that, on
occasion, our non-Muslim children
have asked for it. Please tell us (and
your child) if you do not want your
child to choose this option. Priority for
this dish will be given to those children
who would otherwise have to take a
vegetarian option.

caretakers have

school grounds
clean & tidy. Please
help keep it that
way by not
opening crisps,
sweets etc on the
playground.
