Linguistic / language:
learn by listening, reading, verbalizing, enjoy
discussion, like word games, books, and
records, and remember verses, lyrics, and
trivia.

Logical / mathematical / abstract:
think conceptually, use clear reasoning,
looks for abstract patterns and
relationships, like experimenting and
testing things, like classifying and
categorizing.
LEARNING STYLES
Aural / auditory / musical:
think in tones, learn through rhythm and
melody, learn better through what is
heard, notice non-verbal sounds in the
environment.
LEARNING STYLES
Visual / spatial:
Like mazes and jigsaw puzzles, like to
draw and design, like films, videos,
diagrams, maps, charts.
LEARNING STYLES
Physical / kinesthetic:
Process knowledge through physical
sensations, communicate through
gestures, learn by touching and
manipulating, like role playing .
LEARNING STYLES
Social / interpersonal:
Prefer to learn in groups or with other
people; learn from cooperative learning
experiences, like working in groups.

Independent / solitary / intrapersonal:
Enjoy working independently, like to be
alone, appear to be self-motivated and
need quiet time and space.

Adventurer / naturalist:
Investigate, experiment, question, find out
about natural phenomena and the natural
world, weather patterns, growing things,
animals, conditions that change
characteristics (water from liquid to solid
when frozen), curious.
