Project Overview

POSITIVE YOUTHS IN MOTION CUNY Institute of virtual Enterprise Presented by Cheressa Perry

Project Goals

It is a positive mentoring experience geared towards young adults.

Statistics show that students who repeat the 7th grade are usually the most likely to drop out of school and the least likely to further their education and attend college.

Our goal is to change the outcome of this way of life.

Description

We are building relationships between college and high school students.

Demonstrate by example, to the young ladies in a detention facility, the results of determination and hard work in life This project was developed in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn. It is our hope that it will be continued throughout CUNY schools and nationwide.

Competitive Analysis

Strengths

It was developed to assist in the mentoring of our youth with the hope that they will attend City Universities.

Weaknesses

You need to be self motivated.

Team/Resources

resources allocated to this project

People-there is a team of about 10 students who share their time.

Procedures

One of the benefits of this program is that we are reaching out to a group of people who need the guidance but are being overlooked in society.

All we require is the willingness to learn and participate in all aspects of the program.

Schedule

Development Plans Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun July Sep Oct Nov Dec Right now we are in phase 2. The first stage was to start the project, by forming contacts and developing a plan of action.

Phase 2 requires that we but our plans into action.

Phase 3 would be for the further development of the plan, and taking it into new markets.
