Headmasters’ Roundtable
Unique programs challenge students to do their best
by Danielle Jackson
In our fourth annual roundtable, we talked with headmasters and principals at
various Wake County schools about the value of both their individual
institutions and some of the programs that matter most to them. Here’s what
they had to say.
Robert Littlejohn, Trinity Academy of Raleigh: Every student deserves the
education that best meets his or her particular needs, as well as those of his or
her family. Public schools are charged with accommodating all corners, and
they’re challenged to do things well. Private schools have greater freedom to
offer more specialized curriculum and culture so that families have more
options in finding a learning community that shares their values and
educational goals.
