Association's alumni club and class network to
support and fulfill the Association's mission, goals
and program objectives, by serving senior alumni
and friends (age 55 and older).

What is the ND Hospital Support Program?
• Provides an ND friend in a time of need
So, what is it really?
• Provides assistance to members of the ND family when
hospitalized away from home
- Planned in advance
- U.S. travel emergency (accident or illness)
What kind of support are we talking about?
• Non-medical and non-financial
- Spending time with the patient and family
- Arranging a visit from a priest
- Advising the family on where to stay or shop
- Freeing the caregiver so that he or she can take a break

• Marketing and communication tools
- Business card
- Brochure
- Monthly e-mail message which can be forwarded to volunteers
- Irish Online to record the names and contact info for your NDHSP
volunteers

What do I have to do?
1) Be open
