The First of September
The First of September is the Day of Knowledge. We
always wait for this day, because we want to meet our
schoolmates and school teachers after our summer holidays.
Teachers Day, October 5
Our Principal
On the Teachers Day we say “Thank you” to our teachers
for their hard work, their kindness and understanding. We
have great teachers!
Halloween
We love Halloween.
We have a lot of fun on
that day. We like to
make Jack-o'-lanterns
from pumpkins.
We enjoy our Halloween
parties. Our schoolmates
wear scaring costumes of
witches, ghosts, skeletons,
vampires and others.
New Years Day
New Year Day is our favorite celebration. There is a tradition to make
a New Year performance at our school. Last December we put on the
fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersen «The Snow Queen». Usually
every class has a New Year party. After that day our winter holidays
start.
The International
Friendship Day
In our school we have a tradition
to celebrate a festival of different
nationalities. Every class presents
a song or a dance of any country
of the world. Last year our class
chose India.
Sports Day
We have a lot of sports
competitions during the
school year. The Sports
Day is held in October.
All the students, our
parents and even our
teachers take part in it. In
these competitions we go
running, jumping, play ball
games, and so on. Our
class always takes part in
the competitions with great
success.
English week
Every year in February we
have an English Week. During a
week different events connecting with
studying English take place. We
have ABC parties for young
pupils, quiz competitions, we make
different projects on the traditions
of English speaking countries and
so on.
The most favorite event is «The
English Songs Festival». We
take part in it with great
enthusiasm!
School and afterschool
activities
After the lessons many students attend different
clubs according to their interests. We have
English, Information Technology classes,
Dancing, Ballroom,Design and
Decorating, Art clubs. Also in our school
there are sports clubs such as basketball,
tennis, volleyball and tae-kwon-do.
