The Team Database for Seasonal Year 2001-02,
while remaining essentially the same as last
year’s, allows for more accurate and verifiable
information gathering.
Entry of team members into the database once
will result in the capability of printing out
 MSYSA
Roster Form
 MSYSA/USYSA Player Passes
and Membership Cards
 Player Registration Forms
 Lists and Labels for use by
team officials
Getting Started

site address and download it to
your computer. Download times

computer’s specifications.
It is NOT necessary to delete any
earlier versions of the database, in
fact, your old team file can still be
used. If most of your players are
returning, then you will only have to
delete players no longer with the
team and add new ones. And, of

course, make necessary changes
in addresses, phone numbers, etc.


Once the database is downloaded, go to the menu
bar and click on TOOLS,
SETTING PREFERENCES

be sure to change the address defaults where
necessary, e.g. City, County of Residence or Zip
Code

Here is the Program Settings screen with
information completed. Remember that the City,
Zip Code, County of Residence fields may vary so
select the defaults that apply to most of your

information. Once done, go to EDIT and click on
the dropdown that says “Refresh Data” to save the
new information.
Printing Forms
Once you have verified that all the data has been
entered correctly, no spelling errors, dates of
birth, addresses, counties, social security
numbers, etc. are correct, you are ready to go to
the FILE menu and click on PRINT which will
provide several options. Here they are:
MSYSA Player Registration Form
The Registration form is printed from the database
and is one of the forms needed for the Registrar.
It is suggested that this database generated
form be used so that the parent has the
opportunity to verify the information in the
database and sign the form.
There have been changes to this form.
MSYSA Team Roster Form
The Roster Form also must be printed out and
taken to the Registrar.
Hint: In order to make sure that the Roster Form
photocopies so that the left margin has room,
simply turn the roster form so that the RIGHT
margin is at the top of the photocopier. This
way, nothing on the left hand side will be cut off.
MSYSA Player Passes/Membership Cards
The Player Pass/Membership Card should first be
printed on plain paper and then held up against
the actual form. This is to check that the vertical
alignment is correct. It usually is. But if it is not,
you may need to adjust the vertical. This can be
done by changing the value on the print
interface screen
Here is the
vertical
Offset
window. If
you must
change it
use decimal
values, e.g.,
one half
inch
becomes .5
