OVOP FUTURE PLANNING

• The “One Village One Product” concept is expected to
encourage the mobilization of local human, material, and
cultural resources to create value aided products and services
for domestic and external markets;
• Brunei Government already started to make a conscious effort
to shift the responsibility of upgrading 1V1P activities to local
village communities;
• The effectiveness of 1V1P should be measured by the
involvement of women’s and youth’s empowerment, capacity
improvement of village leaders, people’s value and attitude,
and the effectiveness of coordination among government
offices, communities and private contributors.
