Computer Based Test Application Tutorial
The following presentation will assist you in filling out the
NREMT online application required to test for NREMT-I/P.
Step 1: Go to this website:
http://nremt.org/EMTServices/candidate_application.asp

Step 2: Create a username
and password (write it down…
You will need this later).
Fill this out

Step 2 cont.: Finish filling out
this form and then click
“Submit”.
Step 3: You should get this
screen when your account
is created.

Step 4: Use the login you
created earlier and click
“Login”.
Click either
Step 5: You will need to
provide information in
your profile before
proceeding.
Step 6 cont.: Fill all areas
with an “*”. You may also
fill in the optional data.
Step 7: Once your profile
is saved, you may create
a new application.

Step 8: Confirm that a
your information is
correct. If it is not, you
may correct it by clicking
on “Manage Account
Information”.
Select the level at which
you are testing.
This area will not be
present when you select
Intermediate or Paramedic
from the previous page.

Read the entry
requirements and check
the box when you are
done. Click next to
continue.
Step 9: Start filling out
the application.
Your course completion
date should be either January
or June.
Select “VA” here and click on
“List of EMS Education Programs”
Once you select “VA” and select the list of programs, this list will pop-up.
Select our our agency (15315). The info below will populate automatically.
Step 9 cont.: Use the pull
down menus to confirm
that you are eligible for
certification. Please read
this agreement and scroll
down.

“submit” and you are
done. Your program
coordinator will explain
the process of obtaining
your approval to test
(ATT).
