July 28-31 - District Kickoffs/TrainingsCheck your district calendar for exact dates.
August 21, 2014 - Show and Sell Popcorn is delivered and picked up.
August –Early September - Units hold popcorn kickoffs. Make it Fun!
October 31, 2014 Show and Sell Popcorn due back to the council
along with money for sold Show and Sell Popcorn.
October 31, 2014, - Turn in Take Order Popcorn Order and prize order,
Sportsman’s Day Sign up.
November 13, 2014 Popcorn distribution
December 5 - All units are closed out with Council.
Popcorn money due to Council no later than December 5th.
On or Before December 12 -All prizes must be ordered on-line
(no exceptions). Window closes December 31st.
December 13, 2014 Sportsman’s Day for all boys that
filled up a sheet or sold $600 or more in popcorn.
In January Bonus Checks mailed from Council if unit qualifies.
Teach your Scouts a consistent sales presentation to help build
their confidence and salesmanship. The following presentation
is recommended in the CAMPMASTERS Unit Training
“Sir/Ma’am, hello my name is ___________, I am a Scout with
Pack/Troop _______ here in __________. We are selling popcorn
to raise money for our unit to attend camp. You can help us by
trying some of our DELICIOUS popcorn. You will help us won’t
you?”
1. Sell with your Order Form! This is an excellent way to cover
your friends and neighbors while helping your Scouts to reach
and exceed the goals they have set for themselves.
2. Try Show and Sell! Arrange Show and Sell locations so your
Scouts can be seen in front of high visibility storefronts or
community gatherings. Be sure to plan in advance and
communicate dates/locations!
3. Sell online! It’s easier than ever and you can help Scouts sign
in at campmasters.org or PopcornOrdering.com
4. There is one other way of selling. Do you know what it is?

POPCORN SAFETY TIPS
• Always be courteous!
• Always sell with an adult or buddy
• Never enter a stranger’s house
• Keep checks and cash in a separate envelope with
your name on it
• Always walk on the sidewalk whenever possible
• Never sell at night
• Wear your uniform
POPCORN SALES TIPS
10 ways for a Scout to make a popcorn sale:
• Ask your parents.
• Ask your relatives.
• Knock on your neighbors doors.
• How about your parents’ friends?
• Sell at your place of worship.
• Ask parents to take you to work in uniform to sell to coworkers.
• Have “Super Sale Day” with your fellow Scouts.
• Sell Door-to-Door around your community
• Popcorn makes great holiday gifts!
• Visit businesses around your town for a corporate sale.
2014 Popcorn Sale Commission Structure
Unit Standard commission is 30% + prizes.
OR
Choose a straight 35% commission.
2014 Popcorn Sale Bonus Commission Structure
$1,000 Bonus for units that have $600 for registered scout
at the time of the District Popcorn Kickoff
(Pre-School Nights)
$500 Bonus - Sell $10,000 in Popcorn.
Earn an additional $250 for every additional $5,000 in Sales
2014 SCOUT BONUS - $10.00 WALMART GIFT
CARD FOR EVERY FULL ORDER SHEET THAT IS
TURNED IN.
(MORE SHEETS TURNED IN MEANS MORE GIFT CARDS)
Council Top Selling Unit Drawing –
Every Week starting in September, the Unit with
the highest per boy sales for that week or the Highest Unit sales
for that week will be entered into a drawing for a $500.00
Council Credit that can be used on Council/District Events or in
the Scout Shop.
Two unit will be entered each week. A unit can be entered
more than once. Previous weeks sales are not carried over.
Before prize is award SALES will be verified against total sales.
Online Sales Drawing
We will have a drawing for a iPad Mini.
To enter the scout must have $100.00 in
online sales through Campmasters. 1 prize
for the council.
Drawing will be held October 31, 2014.
