BRIEF COMPANY HISTORY




BALL CABLE CO. has been in the business for eighteen years. We have been
involved in all phases of the cable business. We have eliminated some parts of this
business such as underground burials as we have found this better suited to
companies who specialize in this part of the industry.
We have for several years done non subscriber audits for cable companies in eastern
N.C. with very good results. We provide all necessary backup information to cable co
on a daily basis as to number homes passed, both passive and active illegals
(whether connectors were on or wire stripped back and stuck in ) and disconnects
done. We pride ourselves on making very few mistakes but when we do we will go
back and reconnect customer at no charge.
Our special projects team is unique in that they can do both large ( wiring new apt.
complexes and new motels and hotels ) and small (rewiring a portion of a building)
projects. We have the expertise and equipment to go from tagging, toning & installing
connectors to mounting emt pipe and panduit on any given job.
Our construction dept. is headed up by a contractor who has had experience in all
parts of cable TV. He has worked for cable companies having been as high as plant
manager to owning his own construction company doing aerial construction and
rebuilds. He is familiar with both coaxial and fiber optics also stand mapping and CLI
detection.

All installs are performed by highly trained
installers using only the latest test equipment.
All installers have completed our own company
training courses both written and hands on in the
field.
Each installer is graded monthly by both QC
score as well as repeats.
Our goal as a company is to maintain a repeat
rate under 5% and a QC score of 90 % or better.

block and demark point are recorded on
your workorder and on telephony installs
all above readings in addition to BER,
MER,& JITTER are stored in dsam 2600b
meter and downloaded to your server if
you desire.
