INTRODUCTION

• The TAC4 is a reciprocating type compressor, which uses three cylinders with their own connecting rod, crank shaft, pistons and chain sprockets and it is driven by a chain drive.

• The common compression head will be in triangular shape with an angle of 120º from each other.

• For every rotations of the crank each piston will move simultaneously from ODC to IDC and IDC to ODC.

Best suitable for low pressure application.

Less weight compared to other compressor.

Production cost is low.

Easy to use and portable.

DEMERITS:-

Complete Balancing is impossible and Frictional loss is high.
