QUALITY OF TEACHING AND LEARNING
To guarantee the quality of teaching and
learning each and every step of the entire
training process ought to be carefully
planned,
executed and
monitored.
These include
how the students are selected,
how they are delivered in the classroom,
how the students’ progress is evaluated.
Program
The main concern is to develop a
consistent, coherent and coordinated
methodology of training that would
determine the translation market
value.
SUBJECTS
-providing a solid
theoretical foundation to
equip the students with
conceptual tools,
and
-giving them an ample
opportunity to place more
importance to the practical
side of training.

Who is the ideal translator?
The translator is the one who links concepts
and languages aiming to relay a message
across cultural and linguistic boundaries.
 How should the training be delivered?
The knowledge of the rules should be backed
up by the skills effectively exercised in terms
of a set of competences which have been
acquired during the training process.


The translation should be taken not as an

but as a communication process mediation.

quality of the final product.

The professional world requires that
communication proceed efficiently and
expects from a professionally trained
translators a combination of effectiveness
and efficiency in the form of translator
competence which is regarded as textual
competence and presents the acquisition
of linguistic skills, world knowledge and
experience
