Parklands High School is a popular and high-achieving school. The school invests heavily in learning resources and teacher
development, and staff are encouraged to be innovative and reflective in their practice. The department is well resourced. The
schools recent OFSTED inspection was Good with Outstanding for Behaviour and Safety
This leadership opportunity is designed to appeal to someone who has high aspirations and is a future leader of English and
possibly beyond. We seek an ambitious candidate who would wish to contribute to the school both within English and also in
the wider context, thereby expanding their leadership repertoire. Internal possibilities to lead in a variety of different contexts
are always encouraged. As such, in this instance we are offering the specific responsibilities within English to be negotiable
with the department, in order to match them to candidates strengths. You are invited to tell us what you can offer.
