KRA #3: Leveraging member capabilities
We must materialise the collective capabilities of member organisations to leverage learnings
and experience so that we can deliver more value across the enterprise.
1. To develop agreed core standards to facilitate collaborative IT procurement
initiatives.
2. To disseminate information relating to technology advances relevant to
service delivery.
3. To identify and commission technology research and development which
supports and furthers the growth and improvement of member
organisations’ service delivery.
4. To contribute to the overall sustainability of BCA and its members.

– A way to benefit from individual experiences.
– A way to avoid repeating mistakes that could result in higher costs.

• Conceivable that in the future $1M actual savings across all groups
can be obtained, and at least that much through innovation and
improvements in service delivery.
• Missed opportunity to share experience = mistakes that increase
costs will be repeated.
• Market perception is key, eliminate sacred cows.

• Who is the “connective tissue”?
