Safeguards Overview:
A. District Representative
• Shall insure that the Lampados Process is followed to
the spirit and intent of the guidelines of the Fraternity.
• Shall select a Designee to oversee the Lampados
process at a particular Chapter.
B. District Representative’s Designee
(A Graduate Brother, preferred that he is not a member
of designated Chapter, he oversees.)
• Shall oversee the Lampados process at a particular
Chapter.
• Responsible for insuring that the spirit of the process is
followed as designed .
• Participation at all events & Weekly follow-up

C. Brothers MUST be Financial, MSP Certified
and Have Notarized 9A-21 form on file at IHQ
D. The Dean of Pledgees MUST be a Chapter
Officer. Vice Basileus –Preferred

Process of applicants
UNDERGRADS:
1. IHQ will notify the university of membership
process and provide:
a) List of the approved applicants
b) Contact information:
• Chapter Officers

1. Must sign a document stating reason for
leaving.
2. Have an Exit Interview with Area
Representative and District Counselor
3. Must return Lampados Pin and Manual.

A. Current membership requirements of
candidates are still included:
• Pre Approval and Pre Payment
• Verifiable Community Service for Grads
• Grads from schools that have active Chapters
must wait 4 years prior to applying.
B. Program requires a 5-6 month commitment
