Transcript Printing to MFDs

Printing to MFDs
MFDs (Multi-Function Devices) are combined photocopying and
printing machines.
They are located in the following areas and rooms:Resource Centre
Room 28 Computer Suite
Room opposite 37B, Business Studies
Phase 2 Hall
Conference Room
SuccessMaker Room
In Computer suites that still have printers, you will be
able to print as you did before by selecting the printer
in that room.
These prints are still free.
The printers will be removed when the toners run out.
With the new MFDs, when you
send a document to print, it can
be retrieved from any of the
machines.
Each Pupil’s account has been credited with
£1.00 – equivalent to 100 black & white prints.
When you print or copy, the cost will be
automatically deducted from your current total.
At some point in the future, you will need to fund
your account to continue printing and copying.
This applies to homework and coursework.
It’s up to you how much or how little you print.
You will need your own Personal
Print & Photocopying Number and
you will need to be logged on to a
computer as yourself.
You can no longer print anything
from a computer someone else is
logged on to.
If you forget your Personal Print &
Photocopying Number you can ask
in the Resource Centre for a
reminder.
Please remember that the default
