LET’S MOODLE!
Student Enrollment in Moodle Courses
1. OPEN MOODLE WEBSITE

Open Internet Explorer. In the address bar,
type in the URL: http://tlp.tahomasd.us
2. LOGIN TO MOODLE
Use your Windows
login as your
username.
 The first time you
login to Moodle, your
password is
changeme.

3. UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD
Type changeme as
your current
password.
 Type a new password
that you will
remember.
 Type the new
password again.
 Click “save changes”
to continue.

4. VIEW YOUR PROFILE
Your profile page can be seen by anyone who uses
Moodle, including your teacher and classmates.
 Follow your teacher’s directions regarding updating
your Moodle profile.
 To get back to your profile page from anywhere in
Moodle, simply click on your name.

5. FIND YOUR COURSE
Click “Home” in the
crumb trail to go back
to your My Moodle
homepage.
 Click on the link for
“List of Classes” in the
main menu on the left
side of the homepage.


Scroll through the list
of courses to find the
correct course:

Click on the title of
the course.
6. ENROLL IN YOUR COURSE
Click “yes” when
asked to enroll in the
course.
 You may be asked to
use an enrollment
key, which is like a
password. Enter the
enrollment key and
continue.

