Associate’s Degree vs.
Applied Bachelor’s Degree?
4-year Degree at a 2-year
College (Saves
!)
• An applied baccalaureate (bachelor's) degree
builds on the education and training from a twoyear technical associate degree.
Transferring to a 4-year
College/University?
Students can begin their studies at a Community
College and then TRANSFER to a 4-year college:
1. 1 - 39 credits = take the SAT/ACT for college admission.
(No guarantee that all credits will transfer.)
2. 40 credits or more = do NOT need to take the SAT/ACT
(No guarantee that all credits will transfer.)
3. Work with your CC counselor/advisor to complete a
DIRECT TRANSFER AGREEMENT process (if possible) so all
credits will transfer!
