All rights reserved. 10 Eaton HE Mode Advantages • Lower duty cycle for rectifier and inverter: Improves reliability and MTBF • Fans are typically off: Reliability of one of the few moving parts in the UPS is enhanced. Contrast with flywheel-based high efficiency systems , or line interactive systems • Audible noise is reduced: Fans and PWM are off • Load inrush handling is enhanced: Due to lower impedance of utility source vs. inverter. This is good for motor loads and medical imaging applications © 2013 Eaton Corporation. A field engineer can easily perform tests with a service laptop No load banks to rent! No load connections needed! No wasted energy! Load test capability saves customers time and money! © 2013 Eaton Corporation.
