Twenty Absence Limit: No student may receive
credit for a full-year course after having been
absent from that course more than 20 class
periods
Ten Absence Limit: No student may receive
credit for a semester course after having been
absent more than 10 class periods
Three Tardies equal one absence
Summer School
The following eligibility requirements and restrictions
apply to summer school courses:






Pass 2 marking periods or
Final average 50% and
Comply with attendance policy or
Successfully petition the school’s Attendance
Review Team for waiver
No more than 2 courses per year
No more than eight courses total in
grades 9-12
