CIGRE Central Office
Global Web Site Project - Reminder
CIGRE globally needs the following 4 Web capabilities ASAP:
• Front end Web site managed by Paris Central Office
-
Excellent promotion of CIGRE and access to library material with a template that can
be used by each NC without the need for highly specialised webmaster input
• Collaboration Tool:
-
Excellent content management for WG’s, SC’s and NC’s. Again should be usable by
all without significant training and management / administration
• Event Management System:
-
Potentially usable for Paris session down to individual events within NC’s covering
event Promotion, Payment and Content management
• Future: Membership Management system
• Late 2010: Development program launched by François Meslier
Key activities since June 2011:
• Pilot Working Group (PWG) … scoping requirements for NC/SC/WG
• Web Development Partner: KALIOP (France)
