Salary/Exempt Time Reporting GOAL : Exempt Employees able to report: 1. Benefits Time 2. Positive Time 7/20/2015 Where to find iPeople • On the Human Resources Home Page at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/ • From the ISU Home Page (usually bottom left corner) • https://my.illinoisstate.edu/ 7/20/2015 iPeople Once you have clicked the iPeople button, you can then enter in your private information by using your Central Login ULID and private Password. If you are already logged into a Central Sign on Application (My.IllinoisState, RedbirdMail, etc), you will be taken straight into iPeople 7/20/2015 iPeople Tools Page Once you have entered in your Central Login Password information, you will be given applications for which you are eligible. iPeople should be one of these. If you are not given this option, you will want to reach the Enterprise Service Desk at 438-3308 to gain access 7/20/2015 Benefits Timesheet is for reporting: • • • • • • Vacation Sick FMLA Jury Holiday Bereavement 7/20/2015 Benefits Time First Navigate to: 1. Self Service 2. Time Reporting 3. Report Time 4. Timesheet 7/20/2015 Timesheet • Note that Holidays are ‘yellowed out’ to remind employees not to use vacation/sick on these days • 7.5 Hours (for full-time employees) are generally “prepopulated” on this line, so be sure to use a different line to record “other” time away from work. 7/20/2015 Report Vacation as needed • Add your benefits time in for each day • Do not forget the "Time Reporting Code” on the right side of the page 7/20/2015 If you need to report other time just add a line Before: After: 7/20/2015 Report the other type of time with the appropriate Time Reporting Code 7/20/2015 Click Submit and the time is ready for approval 7/20/2015 ISU Positive Time • This is to meet the State Ethics Act reporting criteria of reporting time spent on University activities 7/20/2015 Located below your Benefit Reporting Timesheet 7/20/2015 ISU Positive Time • After checking the box affirming your time reporting, you will see a “submit” button appear. • Click submit and this time is now saved and submitted for compliance with the Ethics Act. 7/20/2015 For more information • If you need additional assistance, please contact Human Resources at (309) 438-8870 7/20/2015
