• Dealing with false color • Distinguishing objects of similar size • Unfamiliarity with layout of Chilean cities • Counting pixels • Locating the targets using the coordinates • Determining elevation • Dealing with green color as representation of the desert in La Serena

What We Learned

• How to locate objects using coordinates • That looks can be deceiving (false color) • There is more water in La Serena than Tucson • Parts of Chile are desert • The driest desert in the world is in Northern Chile • La Serena is a more dispersed city than Tucson
