Why do we need a KTS?
 Lack of awareness of current activities related to travel time
reliability and transportation systems management and
operations (TSM&O)
 Strong desire to draw on practitioner knowledge through best
practices and peer exchanges

□ Establishes a forum to share experiences, best practices

 Additional features:
□ Subscription-based email newsletter, project profiles, current
practices interchange and archive
 Staff and/or consultant support needed for updates, content
development, management of peer interactions including
