Prioritizing States’ Needs
• AASHTO’s role is
focused on identifying
which products meet the
states’ practical needs
• We are relying on
members and committees
to define how
implementation can be
successful
• FHWA is our partner in
this effort.

Your Role: Discussion
Looking at 2014 and Beyond
• As a State DOT:
– What are your DOT priorities?
– How can these SHRP2 Solutions help you address
these priorities?
– What’s your capacity to take on these products?
• As SCOP:
- What role do you wish to play?
- How can FHWA/AASHTO best benefit from your
expertise and guidance?

stakeholders, have suggested that a rebranding effort should be
undertaken.
– Recommendation: Develop a new name and brand for C01
• Conduct Market Research
