‘Kiwis’, named after their iconic national bird – not
the fruit!
Kiwis make great hosts. Visitors to the country
often comment on how friendly and hospitable
New Zealanders are.

contribute to our sense of nationhood – our kiwi identity.
Put on your jandals (flip flops), eat some Pavlova (our famous
meringue dessert), buy a ‘buzzy bee’ – (a wooden toy that infants
play with) and drink some ‘L&P’ – a unique New Zealand soft drink.
ECO EXPERIENCES
“New Zealand is spearheading the eco travel
revolution…winning accolades with its ethos towards
responsible travel ….when you are gawping at the spine-tingling
vistas its good to know they’ll be there for future generations”

Excitement isn’t hard to find in New Zealand!
The country is one huge playground – from the top to the bottom,
visitors can enjoy a raft of activities from mild – such as sea kayaking,
four wheel driving and scenic flights, to wild – sky diving, bungy
jumping and white water rafting.

experience New Zealand. Around 10 ports receive
ships over the cruising season of October to April.

enjoying a growing reputation for producing
quality wines especially Pinot Noir and
Sauvignon Blanc.
Have a delicious platter at a vineyard, explore
the farmer’s markets, sample regional and

oysters or whitebait patties.
