Every time you and your friend study for an exam
while listening to classical music, both of you
do well on the exam. What testable hypothesis
can you develop from your observations?
Collect HW TOC and CW TOC (get new ones from
the back)
Warm up Response
If I listen to classical music while studying, then I will do
well on my exams.
If I do not listen to classical music while studying, then I
will not do well on my exams.

Levels of Organization
The human body is organized in several levels, from the
simplest to the most complex. . .
Cells – the basic unit of life
Tissues – clusters of cells performing a similar function
Organs – made of tissues that perform one specific
function
Organ Systems – groups of organs that perform a
specific purpose in the human body
***The purpose of the 11 organ systems is for the human
body to maintain homeostasis.
Homeostasis:
Internal environment is kept stable in spite of changes
in the external environment
Requires energy in the form of “calories”
