Club Goals
Field a team competitive with the best middle school teams in Charlotte Black Team 15-2 last year Program as a whole 40-11 Develop players to be successful in high school Give every player a chance for a positive experience Develop sportsmanship and character Club has grown from 27 players in spring 2010 to 56 players last year
Teams
Black team Very competitive team. Mostly 8th graders. 6 th Graders not eligible Goals are player development for high school and winning Players try out and playing time is competitive as well Schedule is against other middle schools Red team Competitive team Playing time is not even but focus is on player development Plays weaker middle school teams and stronger club teams U-13 team Plays a recreational schedule against other club teams Focus is on player development Playing time is more evenly distributed Must be born after August 31, 2001
The Line-up for each game varies with the opponent
Season Schedule
Preseason – Mondays and Wednesdays after school on practice field Practice Starts – First week in February First Three Weeks at AG after school Next Two Weeks at Carmel Park after school At Myers Park Traditional at 6 pm the remainder of the season Games start late February/early March Season over late April/early March Typically practices or games 4 days during the week and Saturday U-13 - two practices during the week and games Saturday and/or Sunday Please register via our website: agbulldogslax.com

Equipment
Players are responsible for stick and some protective equipment (Shoulder pads, mouthpiece, arm pads and cup) AG Lacrosse Club provides shorts, helmet, gloves, team jacket, shooter shirt, socks, practice jersey, and game jersey. Game and practice jerseys are returned at the end of the season AG Lacrosse Club pays for coaches, refs, game medic, fields, field preparation, goals, balls etc.
Cost: $350
Sponsorship Opportunities
We are attempting to reduce the cost per player and to provide better/more equipment Helmets, gloves, bags, socks and boathouse jackets are from sponsor revenue Sponsors have the logo on the website and potentially jerseys and other equipment. We also offer banners on the baseball fence along Colony
Volunteer Opportunities
Assistant Coaches: We will have paid head coaches but would like parent volunteers to assist with running practices Car Pool Coordinator Scorekeepers Web Site Maintenance
