Task 5- P5 M3 D2
Interpret findings from the research presenting them
clearly in an appropriate format.
Analyse the research findings and make any
recommendations on how marketing strategies could be
adapted or implemented.
Evaluate the findings from the research undertaken.
Primary Research Analysis.
Analyse your research by using graphs.
 If you used open questions, group the responses by
trends. Explain what each graph shows and the
recommendations you have based upon the graph.

Question 1
Yes
25%
No
75%
This graph shows that the majority
(75%) of students thought that
McDonalds do not sell enough healthy
food. From this information, I would
recommend that McDonalds has some
more healthy options alongside the
products they already serve, for
example being able to swap fries with a
side salad.
Secondary Research Analysis

Secondary research analysis is less graphical. For each secondary
research method you have used, you need to explain what the
website shows and discuss the validity and bias of the website.

http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/jan/06/food-trends2014-digital-dining-healthy-junk-food

This website shows examples of how businesses have attempted to
make unhealthy food healthy, for example “The future of food
includes holographic chefs, smart knives and egg-white crisps,
according to trend analysts. But will kale ice lollies and edible soil
ever catch on?” The article explores how consumers and
businesses are keen to eat healthily but still want junk food. The
article was published by the guardian 6th January so is very relevant.
McDonalds could use this information to investigate whether they
could use any unusual and alternative ingredients to use or cook
with.
