Aims:
enhancement of reception conditions for asylum seekers among EU member
states
cooperation, qualification, advocacy for best practices
Areas of cooperation:
• Accomodation standards
• Social benefits (including withdrawal)
• Medical care
• Access to employment, education, job training
• Social work and aid
• Freedom of movement
• Engagement
• Dublin II

There will be 6 national working seminars regarding every area of cooperation, which aim is
to inform local societies and authorities and stakeholders working with asylum seekers about
best practices in each field of reception. During the seminar a manual will be presented as a
tool for the discussion and experience sharing between institutions at stake.
The manual shall ease the implementation of best practices among EU member
states in each country where such practice is not present or their creative
adoption to local environment


Two international conferences on reception conditions in EU and cooperation in this field
Consolidation, strengthening and widening of already established cross-border networks
Issuing newsletters on two-months basis dealing with different matters and problems
occurring in the area of reception
Issuing the join-positions in the matters of concern
ICF website maintenance
Good practice package
 Training manuals
 6 qualification seminars
 2 international conferences
 Empowerment of NGO’s involved in the project
 Qualification of local actors and practitioners
 Consolidation, strengthening and widening of established
cooperation
 Assisting asylum seekers throughout and after
harmonization process

