1. SunSet 계측기의 Test 용도
1) A~H 구간 중 어느 구간이든 속도 및 선로 특성 Check 가능.
2) A~H 구간이 가입자 수용이 불가능한 상태로 판단되었을 시 (즉, SYNC 가 안될 때), 계측기의 MODE 1 기능을 수행하여
수용 가능한 속도 조건을 제시할 수 있다. 즉, DSLAM에서 특정 가입자 속도를 고정시키는 방법을 제시.
3) 개통 후 가입자의 민원사항을 Check 하기 위해 정밀 TEST 가능하다.
또한, CX-100 과도 Auto Line Test 가능 (Open/Short. Insertion Loss, PSD 를 Auto로 Test 해 줌 : 약 6분 소요)
4) Level Meter 기능 하나로도 속도 예측 가능. 즉, 특정 주파수를 보낼 때 그 주파수 대역이 흔들릴 때의 지점이
DSLAM 이 안정된 Data를 실어 줄 수 있는 대역폭의 마지막이 된다.

1. 15bits/tone X 256tones = 3840bits (=1 Symbol) x 4000Hz = 15.36 Mbps - DownStream : (192/256) x 15.36 Mbps = 11.52 Mbps
( cf. ISDN : 8bit (=1 Symbol) x 8000Hz = 64 Kbps )
- UpStream : (32/256) x 15.36 Mbps = 1.92Mbps
2. ADSL은 SuperFrame (SF) 구조로 되어 있다. 1개의 SF은 68개의 data frame 으로 구성되고, 주기는 17mS 이다.
3. Signal to Noise measurement made for each tone -> Bit distribution among tones is optimized to transmit desired bit rate.
4. Digital signal is first converted into a data stream -> Data stream is divided into : 256 Discrete Multi-Tones (DMT)
5. Quadrature Amplitude Modulation occurs -> Tone quality is measured , Maps up to 15 bits per tone.
6. Signal goes through digital-to-analog converter.
7. G.DMT 나 G.Lite 의 Pilot Tone 은 16, 64 번째 Tone 이다.
처음 Initializing 할 때 16 (up), 64 (down) 둘 다 쓰지만, Link up 후에는 64 번째 Tone 만 ATU-R 에서 PLL을 위해 쓴다.
Sync 주기는 256uS 이다.
